Consultation Session what is that?

Once you have contacted me we will set up a time to meet in person.  This is the time we go over what type of session you are needing, talk about wardrobe choice, location ideas if not in my studio,  and what to expect moving forward.  I can answer any questions you have about the process during this time.  Consultation also is when we book the session date, pay for the session fee and sign contract and paperwork.

 

What type of photography do you specialize in?

I take lots of different types of photos. From pet photography, to businesses head-shots, family or kids, to my most favorite subject newborn portraits.  Currently the only thing I am not booking is Wedding Photography though if you are planning a destination wedding in Hawaii that could be enough to  twist my arm into doing it 😉

 

How is your pricing structured?

We are a boutique studio.  What this means is that we have a limited number of sessions we offer, and we love to give our clients a great experience!  Our session fee is for the time and talent of the photographer only. No product or digital files are included with this price.

Session Fee – $100+

Watch Me Grow Session Fee – $250+

Following your photo session we will give your images a careful edit, then 1-2 weeks later you will join us in our studio for a proofing and purchasing session.  For most clients, this is their favorite part of the process!  You’ll view your images in a slideshow, narrow down to favorites, and choose products that will best fit your lifestyle and your home!  This is a relaxed and fun process where you can look at samples and we can even show you what your images would look like on your own walls.  There is no minimum to buy and we never pressure anyone to purchase.

 

What do most people purchase?

Wall art by far seems to be the most popular product we offer. (canvas, metal, wood or framed prints).  Though many also enjoy to have all of the images from their session. An album or folio box is also very common in this instance.  On average, most clients will spend in the range of $500-$2500.  We do offer payment plans.

 

Do you sell digital files?

Yes!  We offer edited, high resolution digital files.  These are purchased on a sliding scale, meaning that the more product that is purchased, the less expensive the files will become.

With any product purchased you will receive the matching low resolution file for social media sharing.

 

How long does it take for products to come back?

This depends on the products ordered but typically you can expect anywhere from 2-6 weeks from the day of your purchasing appointment.

 

 How do I book a session with you?

Simple!  Call or send us an email that says “I would like to book a session with you.” or “I have a question about….”.  We will find a date on the calendar that works for us both, pencil you in and finally, talk on the phone to setup a consultation session.

 

Giving Back

I have been working with Paws to Play, a local group responsible for opening the first dog park in out town.  With every dog portrait I do, I give 10% of my profits back to them.
